About 8fl
“The story of how 8FL began to build a legacy for legends.”
8FL (8 Fight League) is a kickboxing event born from a shared passion for kickboxing, culture, and community. The name deliberately references the number 8, which symbolizes infinity: infinity, continuity, and the lasting impact of sport and human perseverance. The character in the logo is a tribute to Nana, the late brother of founder Benjamin Masudi. His legacy is a key inspiration within 8FL and lives on in the identity, values, and vision of 8 Fight League.
The idea for 8FL arose during a casual chat between Benjamin and Marc in Thailand. What began as a spontaneous conversation grew into a clear vision: to create a kickboxing platform that dares to be different and returns to the essence of the sport.
Behind 8FL is a dedicated team of four: Benjamin, Marc, Ken, and Asmae. Together, they are committed to organizing high-quality boxing galas that prioritize sportsmanship, respect, and experience. What sets 8 Fight League apart from other galas is the way it puts the fighter first. At 8FL, it’s not just the spectacle, but the fighter itself that comes first.
Each athlete is given a platform to showcase their story, character, and journey. The person behind the fighter is made visible and receives the attention they deserve. 8FL has a strong connection with Antwerp, a city known for its raw character, diversity, and deep-rooted combat sports culture. The city is a significant source of inspiration and reflects the mentality that 8 Fight League embodies: pure, driven, and authentic. 8 Fight League is more than a boxing gala. It’s a platform where talent, stories, and community converge, built on infinite ambition.
